Non-verbal Communication Workshop

Total Behavior Management workshops are designed for all school personnel.

Participants walk away with hundreds of
practical, "best practice" strategies that are easily implemented and based on current research.

Research tells us that nonverbal communication accounts for nearly 90% of our communicative interactions with other people. A keen awareness of unspoken messages that students, parents and colleagues convey will enable the educator to work "smarter not harder." Teachers also convey unspoken messages that can create obstacles or color a process negatively.

This workshop examines the impact of nonverbal communication and emotional factors in working with people. Body language, facial expressions, reflective and intentional listening are the key points in assessment that this workshop addresses. Through role plays and practice, this research -based, interactive workshop provides participants with an awareness of the impact of emotions and communication in addition to providing strategies for getting the most out of their jobs.

Interactive, motivational, thought provoking and fun, adult learners will remember this workshop for years to come!
